The Mark Holzinger Duo

Mark Holzinger and percussionist John Waller bring their deep, groove-driven sound to the Main Stage at Broadway & Columbus — a duo whose more than 20 years of musical partnership has produced something hypnotic, ethereal, and irresistibly danceable. Holzinger is a San Francisco institution and Western Swing Hall of Fame inductee with three decades of professional experience spanning jazz, blues, rockabilly, and classic country. He channels all of that accumulated mastery into a live experience that is as much felt as heard — warm, fluid, and alive with the kind of propulsive rhythm that moves a crowd without them even realizing they’ve left the ground.
