Gutter Swan

Gutter Swan brings a rich Americana sound to the Green & Columbus Stage, pairing the powerful, emotive vocals of Loryn Barbeau with the disarming yet complex guitar of Steve Egelman. Barbeau is a native San Franciscan who trained as a classical singer and holds a Master of Music in Operatic Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, while Egelman is a Bay Area veteran who cut his teeth in Thin Lizzy and UFO cover bands and also plays in the whiskey-soaked blues ensemble Mad Mama and The Bona Fide Few. Together since 2015 and united by a love of acoustic music, the duo released their debut album where the dark and the light mingle in 2019 — twelve songs that capture exactly what their name suggests.
