Harold Carr Quintet
August 1 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
$25
Harold Carr Quintet at Bird & Beckett features bassist, composer, and poet Harold Carr celebrating the release of his new album A Bird Is Whiter Than The Moon, with a free copy for every attendee. Carr has performed and recorded with Bobby McFerrin, Crystal Gayle, and Lightnin’ Hopkins, and his lyrical, chamber-tinged originals come to life here through violin, piano, percussion, and the woodwinds of ROVA Saxophone Quartet co-founder Andrew Voigt — an intimate, acoustic set built for a listening room.
Flavia Cerviño-Wood, violin;
Andrew Voigt, woodwinds;
Derek Coombs, piano;
Harold Carr, bass and compositions;
Susanna Goldenstein, percussion.
