GamperDrums FunkJazz at Biscuits and Blues is Oakland drummer Chris Gamper’s groove-driven residency, shaped by his long-running collaboration with guitarist Drew Zingg. With Grant Levin on keys, the group reworks songs by Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, and Freddie Hubbard, while Gamper moves between drum set, vibraphone, marimba, and steel drums.
