Emmett Van Leer Trio

Emmett Van Leer is a jazz pianist and composer from Providence, Rhode Island. Studying with Helen Sung and Edward Simon at San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Emmett’s music is also influenced by pianists such as Andrew Hill, Geri Allen, and Thelonious Monk. At Stookey’s Blue Room he and his trio will be playing original music, as well as songs by Ellington, Monk, Allen, and more.
