Joined by Rico Jones on tenor sax, Joel Behrman on trumpet, Matt Clark on piano, and Essiet Essiet on bass, Cuenca brings an authoritative, swinging modern jazz voice shaped by international touring, major festival and club performances, and a lifetime of deep musical apprenticeship, making this an intimate set grounded in tradition, buoyed by masterful interplay, and rich with the energy of seasoned improvisation.
