Sami Stevens at Black Cat brings her intimate, piano- and Wurlitzer-driven original songwriting to San Francisco, drawing on jazz, soul, folk, and indie rock influences in the lineage of the great American singer-songwriters of the 1960s and ’70s. She released her debut solo album Morning on Sunnyside Records in 2023, earning praise from Glide Magazine as one of the most promising songwriters to emerge in recent years. Stevens is also a frequent collaborator, having spent two years touring with nine-time Grammy winner Norah Jones on keys and background vocals.
