Peter Horvath brings a lifetime of world-class musicianship to Keys Jazz Bistro — a Budapest-born contemporary jazz pianist, keyboardist, and composer who won Hungary’s National Jazz Combo Competition at 17 before studying at the Vienna Conservatory and Berklee College of Music, he has since performed and recorded with Bobby Hutcherson, Joe Henderson, Arturo Sandoval, Randy Brecker, Marcus Miller, Pee Wee Ellis, and Ledisi, among a remarkable roster of jazz and soul legends. A musician of rare breadth and depth, he also recorded the tracks for Aretha Franklin’s National Anthem performance at the 1993 World Series — an evening with Peter Horvath at Keys is a masterclass in the full sweep of jazz piano tradition.
