New York vocalist Naama brings her elegant, emotionally direct take on classic jazz to Mr. Tipple’s, joined by Charles Chen on piano, Nico Martinez on bass, and Brian Fishler on drums. The program draws from her forthcoming album Songs From The Road, using standards-inspired storytelling to trace travel’s anticipation, excitement, solitude, and longing; Naama’s style is rooted in the songcraft of Rodgers and Hart, Fields and Hugh, and Cole Porter.
