The Mississippi native is an award-winning pianist, vocalist, and songwriter whose honors include the 2025 Pinetop Perkins Piano Player award and the 2026 Traditional Blues Female Artist (Koko Taylor Award); her recent album Getaway Blues continues that tradition with original, studio-recorded blues.
