Devin Gray Quartet at Bird & Beckett brings Brooklyn- and Berlin-based drummer and composer Devin Gray to Glen Park with a set of his own compositions. Gray has worked with David Liebman, Tim Berne, Kris Davis, Michael Formanek and Ralph Alessi, and releases his music on his own Rataplan Records, including Dirigo Rataplan, RelativE ResonancE and Melt All the Guns. He is joined here by trumpeter Darren Johnston, guitarist Liberty Ellman, and bassist Lisa Mezzacappa.
