Dave Mathews with Kim Nalley

San Francisco Bay Area-based keyboardist David K. Mathews, best known for his extended stints with legendary artists Santana and Etta James, is one of the most talented and versatile musicians anywhere. Born April 16, 1959, Dave’s first high-profile gig came at the age of 23 with the seminal Oakland funk/soul group Tower of Power. Dave replaced original organist (and future Santana keyboardist) Chester Thompson in that band and toured with them for two years.

Over the years, Dave has performed numerous times on U.S. television, radio, and video, including the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson (and Jay Leno), the David Letterman Show, The Latin Grammys, The American Music Awards, Austin City Limits, Jimmy Kimmel, Tavis Smiley, The George Lopez Show, Dancing With The Stars, Regis and Kelly, The Morning Show, etc.
