Darnell Cole and the Vibe at Biscuits & Blues brings Pasadena guitarist and vocalist Darnell “Big D” Cole’s powerful blues-rock trio to San Francisco. Backed by drummer Jit Chatterjee and bassist Elliot Lawrence, Cole moves from gospel-inflected intensity to Sly and the Family Stone–style funk, combining a hard-worked electric guitar, big vocals, and songs shaped by his belief that music can heal.
