Cody Steinmann at Black Cat brings the Minneapolis-based guitarist and composer to San Francisco for a genre-defying set that pushes jazz tradition into metal, hip-hop, and modern improvisation. Steinmann has worked with Ben Williams, JD Allen, Anthony Fung, Chris Bates, and JT Bates, and his recent album *Confined Spaces* carries that same jazz foundation with a heavier, more explosive edge. He’s joined by saxophonist John Palowitch, bassist Isaac Coyle, and drummer Henry Plumb.
