Caelan Cardello Trio

Caelan Cardello Trio at Black Cat brings the rising New York pianist to San Francisco for a three-night residency of sharp interplay, modern swing, and serious piano fire. Cardello has already shared stages and creative spaces with Christian McBride, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Jack DeJohnette, Ravi Coltrane, Paquito D’Rivera, Bruce Hornsby, and Dave Kikoski, and is one of five finalists in the American Pianists Association’s prestigious jazz piano competition, awarded only once every five years. He’s joined by bassist Eytan Schillinger Hyman and drummer Isaiah Bravo for a sound that’s elegant, burning, and fully alive in the moment.
