Bayou to the Bay Series ft. Adosoul & The Tribe

ADOSOUL & The Tribe at the Boom Boom Room features New Orleans soul singer ADOSOUL, a gospel-rooted vocalist known for his signature growl, fronting a brass-fueled band of mostly New Orleans musicians. Classically trained at Xavier University of Louisiana, he began his solo career busking in the French Quarter and was named an Essence Magazine “New & Next” Artist of 2023, performing at the Essence Festival of Culture and on the Congo Stage at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. He has since shared stages with Dru Hill, Stephen Marley, Miguel, Lyfe Jennings, and Melanie Fiona. The Tribe blends Afrofuturism, 70s funk, R&B, and rock into a high-energy set rooted in the New Orleans brass and funk tradition.
