Aaron Germain brings his quartet to The Deluxe for a night of deeply rooted, forward‑looking modern jazz. Aaron is a Bay Area bassist and bandleader who moves effortlessly between upright and electric bass, balancing his work as a consummate sideman with his own adventurous, genre‑spanning compositions. His versatility has put him on stage with a wide range of artists, including Yusef Lateef, Stanley Jordan, Randy Brecker, Nguyen Le, Andy Narell, Michael Wolff, Bonnie Raitt, Mary Wilson, and Tom Coster, among many others. Touring has taken him to landmark venues and festivals around the world—from the Blue Note and Birdland in New York to Ronnie Scott’s in London, Yoshi’s in the Bay Area, major jazz festivals across the U.S. and abroad, and even a “Drumming in the New Millenium” concert in front of the Great Pyramids of Egypt.
