THE GOODSTUFF W/ GROWLER

The Good Stuff at Boom Boom Room headlines a double bill of Bay Area funk and rock after seven years on the San Francisco scene, playing a mix of funk, rock and soul-jazz with Andrew Balmat on vocals and guitar, Bdubs on guitar, Nasser Addi on drums, Shelton Chess on bass and Stefan “Dr. C” Cohen on saxophone. Grøwler opens with a set of originals and covers spanning rock, soul and groove, played by guitarist Steve Lilak, keyboardist Mike Denzler, bassist Eddie Gobbo and drummer Scott Redick — the band’s first time on the Boom Boom Room stage after two decades as regulars in the audience.
