The Good Bad

The Good Bad is a San Francisco–based progressive bluegrass band appearing at Belle Cora in North Beach. A long-running presence on the West Coast “newgrass” scene, the five-piece group uses traditional string-band instruments—mandolin, banjo, fiddle, guitar, and bass—to deliver high-energy, harmony-rich sets that put a modern, rock-and-roll spin on classic bluegrass. Their acoustic sound and upbeat tempos pair naturally with Belle Cora’s intimate wine bar setting, turning an evening of tasting and conversation into a lively neighborhood hang.
