Sherri Roberts featuring Harvie S at Keys Jazz Bistro reunites the San Francisco vocalist with her longtime New York bassist collaborator for an evening of bop, standards, and cool-jazz–inflected song. Roberts is celebrated for an expressive yet musically precise style shaped by singers including June Christy, Chet Baker, and Helen Merrill, while Harvie S brings decades of work across jazz and Latin music, including performances and recordings with Kenny Barron, Stan Getz, John Scofield, and Sheila Jordan. They are joined by pianist David Udolf and drummer Akira Tana, fresh from a New York recording session that follows their 2017 release Anybody’s Spring.
