Paul Mehling’s Le Jazz Hot at Mr. Tipples features Mehling on guitar and vocals, Evan Price on violin, Dexter Williams on bass, and Jordan Samuels on rhythm guitar. The quartet is the Bay Area incarnation of the Hot Club of San Francisco, channeling the acoustic swing of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli through gypsy-jazz standards, inventive arrangements, and original compositions.
