Patrick Wolff’s Swinging Organ Quartet

Saxophonist Patrick Wolff brings his Swinging Organ Quartet to North Beach’s Keys Jazz Bistro for an evening of hard-grooving soul-jazz and post-bop. Channeling the classic late-1950s and early-1960s prestige sound of iconic partnerships like Shirley Scott with Eddie “Lockjaw” Davis and Lou Donaldson with Big John Patton, Wolff leads a powerhouse Bay Area lineup featuring Adam Shulman driving the venue’s Hammond B3 organ, guitarist Jack Tone Riordan weaving nimble harmonic lines, and drummer Miles Turk anchoring the pocket. Together, the quartet navigates deep-swinging jazz standards, blues-drenched grooves, and overlooked hard bop gems tailored to the club’s intimate listening room.
