Lucien Muir featuring Veotis Latchison

Lucien Muir featuring Veotis Latchison at The Deluxe pairs the San Francisco drummer and bandleader with Oakland vocalist and keyboardist Veotis Latchison, joined by Zach Sanders on guitar and Isaac Coyle on bass. Muir brings a propulsive, groove-centered foundation honed across the local jazz and live music circuits, while Latchison infuses the quartet with an expressive vocal style and harmonic depth shaped by modern soul, R&B, and jazz. Together with the dynamic interplay of Sanders’s guitar and Coyle’s acoustic bass, the ensemble moves fluidly between contemporary jazz grooves, soulful ballads, and vibrant improvisation.
