KOOBI FORA w/ FREE MOMENT

Koobi Fora w/ Free Moment at Boom Boom Room is a double bill of Bay Area jam and funk. Free Moment opens — a new project built from founding members of Passenger, with guitarist Chris Reale, bassist Bill Becker, drummer Mark Abbott and keyboardist Marshall Luck in a set of rock, funk and improvisation. Koobi Fora takes the night into the early morning, with Jackson on guitar and vocals, Taylor on bass and vocals, and Glenn on drums, joined by pianist Josh Gelfand, who holds a monthly residency at Madrone Art Bar and plays Comstock Saloon and Bar Maritime, on keys and lead vocals.
