Jorge Luis Pacheco Trio: “Live from Havana” at Mr Tipples brings the pulse of Cuban music into a contemporary jazz setting. Havana-born pianist, composer, and vocalist Jorge Luis Pacheco joins bassist Gerson Lazo-Quiroga and drummer Reinier Mendoza for a set shaped by Afro-Cuban rhythms, boleros, danzón, and inventive improvisation. The program takes its name from Pacheco’s Live from Havana, recorded at the 2025 Havana Jazz Festival.
