George Cole’s “George Meets Django” quartet brings the fiery, acoustic swing of Django Reinhardt to Mr. Tipple’s on Thursday, September 10, with shows at 7:00 and 8:45 PM. BAMMIE Award-winning guitarist Cole is joined by Valentino Cole on guitar and vocals, Anton Patzner on violin, and Fred Randolph on bass for jazz manouche standards and original compositions, balancing fast guitar work, crooning vocals, and seasoned stage humor. Cole is also a longtime David Grisman Quintet/Sextet guitarist and former teacher to Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt.
