Erik Jekabson Quintet plays “A Tale of Three Cities

Bay Area trumpeter, composer, and arranger Erik Jekabson brings his quintet to Keys Jazz Bistro to present A Tale of Three Cities. Having lived and worked in New Orleans, New York, and San Francisco, Jekabson wrote the suite of original compositions as a musical tribute to the history and distinct musical character of each pivotal jazz center. The quintet features Jekabson on trumpet alongside alto saxophonist Kasey Knudsen, pianist Matt Clark, bassist Dan Feiszli, and drummer Jeff Marrs.
