Elé Howell Quartet at Mr. Tipple’s features the Bay Area–born, New York–based drummer and composer with guitarist Vinicius Gomes, saxophonist Kazemde George, and bassist Jayla Chee. Howell has developed an international career alongside artists including Ravi Coltrane and Chief Adjuah, and his disciplined yet polyrhythmically rich playing gives the quartet a dynamic, deeply interactive modern-jazz sound.
