Dennis Mitcheltree Quartet at Mr Tipples features the tenor saxophonist and composer alongside Johannes Wallmann on piano, Jesse Crawford on bass, and Bill McClellan on drums. After decades of playing together, the quartet brings a close musical rapport to Mitcheltree’s original compositions, moving between melodic writing and open improvisation. The performance is part of the group’s tour supporting Seeing Red.
