Coit Tower Poetry Club

Coit Tower Poetry Club gathers on Coit Tower’s back lawn for a communal reading of Frank O’Hara, the exuberant New York School poet celebrated for conversational, city-lit poems such as those in Lunch Poems. In keeping with the club’s format, participants sit in a circle, pass around selected work, and read aloud against the nighttime backdrop of San Francisco and the Bay.
