Vibe: Seasonal Art Gallery | Mid-Market Maker Hub | Pop-Up Shop with a Botanical Bar
Hunt & Gather is a creative gathering space built around local art, design, and community events. Formerly an Inner Sunset favorite, it has relocated to Mid-Market inside The Market food hall at 10th and Market, where it pairs a rotating seasonal gallery and maker shop with Sol Botanica, its adjacent bar.
Art & Atmosphere
The space changes with the season, bringing in new exhibitions, local makers, pop-ups, workshops, and community programming. Expect handmade jewelry, art, home goods, beauty products, pantry items, and design-minded gifts from San Francisco artists and small businesses. It feels more like a lively creative salon than a conventional retail store, with an emphasis on browsing, meeting makers, and finding something unexpected.
Music & Scene
Live music is part of Hunt & Gather’s event rhythm, especially during seasonal openings, art walks, and neighborhood gatherings. The former Inner Sunset space hosted art-walk performances alongside local artists and workshops; the Mid-Market location continues that event-driven approach with exhibition openings, community celebrations, pop-ups, and creative programming. Check its events calendar for the current schedule rather than expecting nightly music.
Details that define the room

Supports local artists, artisans, and emerging small businesses through shows, sales, workshops, and pop-ups.
Sol Botanica adds a bar component, making gallery visits feel more social and stay-awhile.

Strong fit for gallery-opening crowds, creative meetups, gift shopping, private events, and people who prefer art spaces that feel active rather than hushed.
