Rooted in the spirit of Ayler\, Shepp\, Ornette Coleman\, and the Art Ensemble of Chicago — and infused with the philosophical depth of Krishnamurti and Rumi — the ensemble features Bruce Ackley on reeds\, Sandra Poindexter on violin and voice\, Ollen Erich Hunt on bass\, and Jimmy Biala on drums and percussion\, with Jordan leading on reeds and poetry for an evening of music that is as intellectually alive as it is deeply felt.
