Born in South Hadley\, Massachusetts\, and shaped by mentors Alan Dawson and Arthur Taylor\, Farnsworth graduated from William Paterson University\, established himself quickly on the New York scene\, and has since performed and recorded with legends including Benny Golson\, Diana Krall\, Pharoah Sanders\, and McCoy Tyner across more than 500 recordings. He is also a bandleader\, an educator at William Paterson\, and an internationally recognized clinician\, and he is joined here by saxophonist Eric Alexander\, bassist Michael Zisman\, and pianist Matt Clark.
