Inspired by authentic Soul and Blues recordings of the ‘60s and ‘70s\, this dramatic horn driven extravagant act took shape. Known for having great\, authentic singers\, APSO invites newest member\, the incomparable vocalist Willy Jordan into the organization. Having worked with Elvin Bishop’s Big Fun Trio (which garnered him two Grammy Award nominations)\, John Lee Hooker among others\, Willy holds court from a throne previously occupied by Wee Willie Walker\, Frank Bey\, and Terrie Odabi. DESCRIPTION:Dutch born\, Lara Louise plays at Belle Cora. She learned to play guitar listening to the folk songs of Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen. All these different influences make for a tasteful variety of classic songs\, tied together with her unique style and soft\, sultry voice. \nAfter studying philosophy in the Netherlands\, Lara moved to the San Francisco Bay Area. Currently\, she plays at venues and private events\, either solo or supported by some of the Bay Area’s finest jazz musicians. She records songs with multi-intrumentalist and producer Gawain Mathews\, which to date have been streamed over ten million times on Spotify and Youtube.
