While staying true to the musical lineage as well as herself\, Amina is able to captivate audiences around the world with her music and her story. Her debut album Where The Wild Seed Grows is out now on all platforms. \nCurrently\, Amina Scott serves on the faculty at Loyola University New Orleans and the University of New Orleans. SUMMARY:Lara Louise
DESCRIPTION:Dutch born\, Lara Louise plays at the Savoy Tivoli. She learned to play guitar listening to the folk songs of Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen. Later\, she became influenced by jazz and bossa nova singers such as Madeleine Peyroux\, Carla Bruni\, Julie London and Astrud Gilberto. All these different influences make for a tasteful variety of classic songs\, tied together with her unique style and soft\, sultry voice. \nAfter studying philosophy in the Netherlands\, Lara moved to the San Francisco Bay Area. Currently\, she plays at venues and private events\, either solo or supported by some of the Bay Area’s finest jazz musicians. She records songs with multi-intrumentalist and producer Gawain Mathews\, which to date have been streamed over ten million times on Spotify and Youtube.

DESCRIPTION:The Dirty Works Jazz Band brings its signature jam session to Paris 75 every first Thursday.  Led by upright bassist Kyle Finley\, these “Dirty Works & Friends” nights transform the North Beach venue into a buzzing jazz laboratory. Far from a casual background set\, this is a professional performance environment where the house band sets a high bar before inviting local players to sit in and trade solos on the fly. \nThe only Jazz Jam to feature a burlesque dancer\, Raya\, who performs with the band from 9-10pm. \nThe repertoire is heavily inspired by the “Golden Era” of jazz (1945–1965)\, specifically the catalogs of Riverside\, Impulse\, and Blue Note records.
