Rhonda Sauce Quartet at Black Cat brings the Oakland vocalist and composer to San Francisco for a night of funky, soulful jazz colored by Brazilian influence and sharp original storytelling. Sauce’s recent work includes a sold-out SF International Arts Festival premiere, a KCSM Studio 91 session, and appearances at SFJAZZ, Yoshi’s, and the Fillmore Jazz Festival, with songs that take on love, loss, and life’s foibles with charm and humor. She’s anchored by veteran pianist and musical director Adam Klipple, alongside bassist Dan Feiszli and drummer Eric Garland.
