Lady Stout & Nurenssnce at Black Cat bring a voice-led, genre-bending set of soul, jazz, gospel, and rock to San Francisco for a three-night residency built on deep grooves and fearless improvisation. Lady Stout has shared stages with Robert Glasper, Chris Dave, Derrick Hodge, Ledisi, Alicia Keys, Patti LaBelle, Anderson .Paak, Durand Bernarr, Keyon Harrold, and Noname, with appearances at Carnegie Hall, NPR Tiny Desk, the GRAMMY Awards, the BET Awards, the Billboard Music Awards, and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, plus a collaboration with De La Soul. She’s backed by Nurenssnce — bassist and musical director Dan Winshall, drummer Tyson Jackson, pianist Axel Tosca, and guitarist Matt Sewell.
