Eric Markowitz is a Bay Area jazz bassist who appears at the Hi Lo Club on May 3 from 7–10pm. He grew up in New Jersey near New York City and later built his career in the St. Louis and Bay Area jazz scenes, performing with figures including Vince Lateano, Andrew Speight, Patrick Wolff, Adam Shulman, Jimmy Heath, Harold Mabern, and Richie Cole.
