The Saloon welcomes legendary blues firebird Cathy Lemons — a Dallas‑born vocalist and songwriter whose “velvety and hypnotic voice, resonant of a female Howlin’ Wolf” has mesmerized audiences for over 30 years. Drawing inspiration from Aretha Franklin, Lou Ann Barton, and Big Mama Thornton, she earned her stripes across Texas, recording with Anson Funderburgh, sharing the stage with Stevie Ray Vaughan, and touring as John Lee Hooker’s send‑off singer, while releasing nine studio albums and earning honors such as Independent Blues Awards “Artist of the Year” and “Song of the Year” for “Godless Land.”

Now based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Cathy co-leads The Lucky Losers with Phil Berkowitz, touring extensively across the United States and performing regularly at The Saloon when not on the road.
